嘶吼声划破了这令人窒息的黑夜，回忆从我的咽喉中喷涌而出。我做了一场梦，具体已经记不清了，只记得有无人机，机械利爪和血，都是我藏在内心深处或压抑太久的东西。当我意识到一切只是导航仪所发出的越来越密集的噪音后，我如释重负般地叹了口气。没有无人机。导航仪的信号灯变得愈发刺耳和明亮，好像提醒着我目的地快到了。可事实上，我还一步未动。

I tear into the breathless night with a shout – throat resounding with the memory of spit. It was a dream of drones, of mech-claws and blood, stuff I can’t remember or I’ve pushed down too far. I sigh with broken relief as I notice it was only the noise of the navigation device wired into my cane -whirring with increasing intensity. No drones. The navigation beacon has been getting louder and brighter, like I’m nearing a destination, despite the fact that I haven’t even moved.
