我已经走太远了，现在回不去我的补给车了，它肯定和里面剩下的东西一起埋在沙子里了。但这无所谓，信号灯正在燃烧，空气中的风声和噪音撕扯着狂啸。不管这是死后的一场梦，还是真的有什么要来临了，一切都无关紧要了。我将举起我手中的杖迎接它，以这印记作为人类最后一次的表达，或是人类下一个文明的开始。这也许是个崭新的开端或者只是一切的终结。
I’m too far gone. I couldn’t make it back to my supply cart now and it must be buried in sand with whatever’s left in it. But it doesn’t matter. The beacon is burning now, the air is shrieking with noises other than the wind. Whether this is a dream in death or something is genuinely coming - it does not matter. I’ll meet it with my staff raised, by this hieroglyph, the last human expression or merely the next. Let this be merely the next day or finally the last.
